Consulting

Independent airworthiness advice for decisions where money, safety or accountability is on the line. We do no maintenance and issue no release to service, so our advice is never shaped by the work that follows it. Our experience spans CAA NZ, EASA and FAA frameworks.

Who we advise

Lessors and financiers, buyers and investors, receivers and administrators, operators and new AOC applicants, owners and asset managers, and maintenance organisations.

Our consulting services

  1. Aircraft Acquisition Due Diligence: inspection, back-to-birth records review, AD and SB status, life-limited parts and condition gaps. You receive a findings report with risk rating and estimated cost to rectify.
  2. Records Assurance & Transition: records audits for lease return, delivery, re-registration or sale, with open items managed to closure.
  3. CAMO Establishment & Review: exposition, procedures, maintenance programme and staffing model, with a gap analysis and implementation plan.
  4. Regulatory & Audit Readiness: preparation for CAA NZ, EASA or FAA certification, renewal or audit, and responses to findings.
  5. Distressed Asset & Insolvency Advisory: asset condition, preservation, maintenance watch and sale support for receivers and lenders.
  6. Fleet Storage, Remarketing & Disposal: storage and preservation programmes, sale preparation and transfer for single aircraft or fleets.

How we engage

A free initial conversation, then a written proposal setting out scope, deliverables, timeline and fee. Fees are fixed per deliverable, staged for larger projects, or a monthly retainer. We declare any relationship that could affect our advice before accepting work.
