Maintenance Operations Control Engineer

Plane Business International is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) Engineers for an upcoming opportunity supporting a commercial operator on site at Auckland Airport.
The role would keep the fleet serviceable and on schedule. That means working closely with line maintenance, flight operations and engineering to manage defects, deferrals and aircraft availability in real time.
The role
- Monitor fleet serviceability and coordinate defect rectification with line stations
- Manage MEL/CDL deferrals and track them to closure
- Provide technical support to maintenance and flight crew, including troubleshooting and AOG coordination
- Liaise with planning, stores and engineering to minimise disruption
- Keep accurate, compliant maintenance records
What we’re looking for
- Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, or equivalent experience in a maintenance control environment
- Sound knowledge of continuing airworthiness requirements and MEL procedures
- Experience with a maintenance tracking system
- Calm, clear decision-making under time pressure
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work on site at Auckland Airport on a rostered schedule, including nights

CAMO Specialist [contract position]

Plane Business International is building a small, experienced continuing airworthiness team, and we’re looking for CAMO professionals who want to do this work well.
We’re inviting expressions of interest from people with experience in some or all of:
- Airworthiness directive and service bulletin control
- Maintenance programme management
- Maintenance planning and forecasting
- Technical records and Maintenance Reviews
- Reliability monitoring
- Maintenance tracking systems
Ideally you’ll have a background in New Zealand Part 119 or Part 145 operations, a working knowledge of the Civil Aviation Rules, and experience on turboprop or regional aircraft. An AME licence is an advantage.
